  1. Well, I'm just seeing the results of the Canucks and Oilers game… Guess we'll be talking about the NJD/VAN draft lottery odds next 😬

  2. The Oilers should trade for Demko if Benning comes back we could probably trade 1 for 1 for Koskinen

  3. There's no doubt that Bennings time is done… can you imagine how the fan base would react if he got resigned…. say a 3 year extension…. ouch…
Personally I like John Davidson… I just want new eyes, a new perspective and someone who is a little detached from the team so the decisions are based on asset value and not personal… I don't want a GM that fires out random contracts that continue to handcuff the team… I like the fact the Canucks are an uptempo team and with a full training camp I believe that we can establish our system… but there's got to be changes… I'm not a big fan of alumni coming in for big roles because of the emotional connection… Linden was the only one that I believed in because his stance of building the team a little slower with supplementing draft picks and building the team that way was Yzerman…ish…
As Loui Erickson, and Bobby Lou's Penalty come off the books… Someone who has a good Hockey mind needs to be in control

  4. Lego, as far as Gadj and Lookwood is concerned, the Canucks need to call them up due to quarantine. They will get the last two games. That part is a non story that freaking out over this makes the fan base look extremely obtuse and whinny.
Utica and Diepetro is caused by whatever contract Francesco signed with the Blues. They are probably in breach of contract is Diepetro play those games in Utica. That is why I a, very happy to see the rumor that the Aquas are kicking Francesco out.

  5. Canucks gotta get rid of Francesso, so put in Roberto and see how he does. Hire Jeff Gorton because he had a real good track record with the Rangers. And lastly beg Linden to return and give him control to get this team back

  6. At the end of the day, ownership has to be to blame. We have recycled gm’s head coaches and no real change. Ownership hires these people for a reason. Sign the checks and leave the decision making to the professionals.

  7. Benning sucks, great draft picks, foolish free agent deals, pretty sure Green will walk ,why would he stay ? Really I think Canucks need new owners .

  8. In defense….joe sakic is clearly a wizard. Clearly. Cause its ridiculous how consistently he wins every god damned transaction

  9. I may not always sound like a diehard fan but I am. I want the team to win nothing wrong that. I just get bugged by other fans thinking some of the players on the roster are good when their numbers show otherwise. There are way too many non contributing plumbers on the team and not talking young guys and over valuing other players. I have said so many times they have to build around their young stars. Hughes is on an island by himself and he can't be doing it by himself. Rathbone is a breath of fresh air. And Lind was drafted to play bottom six not the top six. Highmore, Vesey, Boyd, Roussel, Sutter, Beagle, not good enough. Schmidt is way over rated, Meyers was never that good. Perhaps Chatfield should stay in the minors. Edler is getting to old. Their top players are great, but there is only six maybe seven real players plus Demko. Podkolzin should fill a big hole. And there is only a couple decent free agents. Benning has fubarred the team. Just miffed that he might stay. That happens and the team stays the same. Perhaps we stink out another two years and get Bedard or the Russian sniper.

  10. If they were out of recalls couldn't they use emergency recalls. I know teams have used emergency recalls and it didn't count as a recall or doesn't Benning know about that?

  11. They should get new GM and new coach who can help them better rather than run and gun system. We need GM who’s good with money rather than giving 4th line 3 to 4 millions it’s time to get new GM and coach please keep our goalie coach pay the man he’s best coach out there
