Haha. Roslovic wanted out of Winnipeg because he thought he was too good to play on the third line. Goes to Columbus and plays on the third line. He's just not that good. Not a top six player. He will be bitching about lack of ice time before end of the season
Blue Jackets will compete for the Cup now, Laine is a sniper, very few exist in the NHL like him, a very rare commodity. Winnipeg screwed up big time 🙃
Hope the Jackets like their 3rd liner in Roslovic and their overhyped "sniper" in Laine. Yes he can score goals, but way too inconsistent. For a kid who was touted as being the next Ovechkin, he hasn't even come close to that. Hell Auston Matthews has become the far better player. Laine is bad defensively, he scored on his own net one time. He'll score 10 goals in 5 games, then go 20 games without another point. He also has a bad attitude, he thought he deserved the top line with Mark Scheifele just because, but didn't want to put in the effort to earn it. He'll hate Torts cuz he'll hold Laine accountable and will bench him if he's not performing.
But he'll like tthe fact that Columbus isn't a big hockey city, with fans scrutinizing his every move, so he can be lazy. Good riddance.
