Are you fucking serious? How does an entire arena just mysteriously lose power.
Nerrisa91
Someone on Twitter mentioned Nationwide still has power but might be on a generator?
CRAZEDMETHOD
AEP’s website has estimated time of restore by 4:30 so hopefully its accurate and that’s enough time before the game

Even if the game gets to go, will the food be OK?

Can we borrow Tampa’s Tesla coil for the evening?

This seems like a decent update:
An underground cable that feeds power to the Arena District failed at 1:06 p.m., causing an outage in the area bordered by Neil Ave, Vine St, 3rd St & Long St. Crews are working to reroute customers & make repairs. Estimated restoration time is still to be determined
Imaginary_Ganache_29
Sources say the CBJ power play was not affected by the outage
iamelloyello
Per Jason Newland, who works for NW, they are being told 11 pm for power restoration.

I am going to guess the game gets postponed.,

It would be our luck to be the team to not participate in the frozen frenzy.
iamelloyello
Restoration time has been updated to 6 pm per the AEP website.

More than likely getting game pushed back an hour or a full postponement.

I was planning to hit the North Market before the game. Anyone know if it is affected?
iamelloyello
Per Brian Hedger, an update is expected from either the team or NHL within 30 minutes.

Power is expected to be restored at 6, 30 minutes before puck drop according to twitter. No word on if the game will be postponed to a later time slot or date.
soundwithdesign
The arena is operating as if a game is happening, likely as scheduled, but an update should be coming soon.
