I was born and raised in Detroit but lived in Seattle for a few years and I could hardly watch any games because the start time was so early and I was still working so I understand having the slightly later start time so people in Seattle can watch their team as well. But I remember playing the ducks in the playoffs in the early 2010s when I still lived in Detroit and games started at 10pm when we were away that series

As someone who has to get up at 5 in the morning everyday the 8 15 start time is very frustrating.
The Teams today can't keep up with Dylan or The Cat on the rush so far. So who do they team up on to slowdown on the rush? Good luck trying to stop The Winged Wheel express coming to your City.

Even though its early, its a good sign the team is playing well and beating teams at their level and above. You have to beat better teams to become a better team. Wings are not there yet and need more of a push from younger players to happen naturally over time, but the path is there.
I look at is like Yzerman has replaced some of the pieces Holland let walk or failed to address in the draft at the time. Good teams in the cap era have to always have "one in the chamber" with young players pushing at all projected levels. Not all will hit but if 30% of them do, it leads to success.

What’s frustrating as a fan is unless you’re loaded the only hockey you get to watch is high lights. Bad enough when you were extorted by one provider now to cover the whole season you get exploited by multiple providers. Shame on the NHL. When are they going to listen to their fans and FIRE BETTMAN
I read an article that had a statistical breakdown of the Calgary game that was very concerning. Overall, Wings got outplayed, but came out with the win because one player had extrodinary finishing ability. Flames had more quality chances. We won on the back of a player that is shooting at an over 30 percent rate. This has me worried.
