It really was not his whole fault they got creamed tonight. That defense can't stop anything, let alone a hot Hawks team. If he wasn't a Leaf, the Leafs would be near the gutter of the Atlantic.

Lol the city of Toronto puts so much pressure on their players I mean you have Anderson a top 5 goalie this year who has started so many games then you have Mathewes Marner Nylander Travares Tyson Barry and Morgan Rielly just to name a few when I see this roster I think cup champions but they are not even close to that lol
But when your paying teenagers and guys in their early 20s you get low effort bc all they care about is the money

Stop making excuses for this guy. He got beat clean on 4 of the 6 goals. Goalie takes the shooter it's his responsibility to stop the shot. I gave up by the 3rd period. He's a free agent after this year. Good ridance. This team will not make the playoffs. 45 million dollars could only get 2 by Crawford. Sloppy passes give aways and turnovers night after night. Hrudey said he should have been yanked after the second goal. I would have gave him the 3rd goal. Its painfully clear the leafs are only going as far as Anderson will take them. And that's not going to be very far. Panthers will take the final playoff spot and the Sabres will catch the leafs.

As disappointed as I am in the last few games, (aside from calg game cause we got rittiched and it was a solid effort) I have to say that if you took the top two dmen from every team in the league they’re gonna go on a skid.

Leaf players (except goalie and especially defense) should watch The Capitals Road to the Cup (video)…see how they played like it was life or death…They need a strong backup goalie…someone like Blackwood (who is inexperienced enough to accept this backseat roll…for now)
