I've been saying this for a few years. I'd rather see Crosby and talent like that play a full career to see fighting not in the culture anymore. I actually wouldn't mind hitting gone and get mocked and made fun of. I'm an Oilers fan and it breaks my heart that Joe Murphy was living on the street in North Western Ontario because of head injuries that he got entertaining me. They are our modern day gladiators and "are you not entertained!?" is relevant here. He's one of many guys who suffered in life after hockey was over. It is up to media like you guys to change the thinking also. You guys are the next generation of voices that can make a difference.

I don’t know if you guys read these, but you should isolate the clip where Dan says players should find out the statute of limitations on a workplace injury and file a grievance against the league, and circulate it along with Dan on all social media platforms. That is going to be the most important stepping stone to the league changing the way they operate and the way they educate. It may take a decade or two, but once that starts to affect the league’s bottom line they will make meaningful changes.
