It's all about market demand. Go find a center like Matthews or Tavares. It's not happening. Matthew Barzal had only 9 fewer points than Marner when he last played a full season with Tavaras and he makes $1,263,333 per. I believe Nylander would put up similar numbers playing with Tavaras
