He had a nice little career and made some money. Good for him.

  2. drohan42

And this is why we signed for depth. I hope he recovers because he makes our team better, but it is nice to feel like we can carry on without him.

Damn, Fabbs can’t catch a break.

    Or maybe one too many.

Wonder what happened from being short term, maybe good for Columbus to “out for a month”. Copp, Compher, and Rasmussen on the same line has looked pretty decent though and Czarnik can hold his own in small doses, so we’ll be fine for a bit.

Have they said what the injury is? I think a Berggren callup soon will make a lot of sense. Same type of player.

  6. Isphet71

Jeez. Time to get Bergg up from GR since it’s gonna be longer than a few games?

  7. wellpaidscientist

Love ya Bobby Brows, but we need to replace you with someone who can reliably play hockey.

  8. LeadingStill7717

Oh my lord Fabs just give it up man. Maybe Steve would give him a job in the front office or something.

  9. Jeez-essFC

If Holland were here, he would use that month to sign Fabbri to a 12 year extension.

  10. RockosBos

They said it was day to day?

I guess you could say they Robby Fibbri’d…

  11. dilypucks

I don’t think we will see a Berggren call up on this news unfortunately

*never mind I just saw Helene say one of the 12 active guys is banged up and there will be a callup today

  12. Deraj2004

Hang em up Fabs, hopefully Yzerman can you a scout in training or something.

  13. SpiritBamba

He needs to seriously think about ltiring not going to lie.

  14. This guy has shit luck with injuries. One game, then out for a month. Heal fast Robby.

Something something best ability is availablity

  16. jfstompers

Which is why we said call up Elmer or berggren a week ago.

    He’s “fra-jeel-eh.” Must be Italian.

  18. zakksyuk

I am giving up on Robbi Fabbri at this point. There was a narrative around him having a good summer and now hes out for a month already lol.

  19. doubeljack

Do we know what the injury is this time?

I feel bad for him, and the team. This is not what either side wants. I don’t think he’s playing out that contract.

  20. SaintUber95

Dude’s gonna be one of those real young coaches, isn’t he?

  21. gowingsgo

Dude is a fucking faberge egg. Don’t see his spot being here when he’s back.

  22. Shotokanguy

Wtf man, I tried to be optimistic and he got hurt immediately, and it turned into a longer and longer thing

It’s hard to have any hope for him honestly, I just pray he doesn’t feel that way

  23. DangerDaveOG

He has literally averaged only 41 games played per season for his entire career. Literally misses half of every season.

  24. onbiver9871

What must it be like to have the skill to not just make it in the NHL but to prove you could thrive, but to never really be able to get off the ground because of injuries… sucks so much for Fabs. Hope he feels the validation of all the success he’s had to this point just by getting to where he is as a hockey player. And hope he can still play games for the Wings this year!
