Good. And as much as I like Minten, I think sending him back and calling up Holmberg will be the right move, the third line is disjointed right now and Minten just seems out of place.
Good. Knies and JT are demons on the walls. Now put Willy with Matthews
I love Knies in a top six role but that’s going to be the end of Minten for sure. I think the two have amazing chemistry, but Minten isn’t ready to carry a line with our top two lines being so stacked.
This is the right choice. Knies deserves a look in the top six
For fucks sake can we just put Willy with Matthews and Mitch on the second line? So frustrating.
Knies deserves to be in the top-6. Love to see it.
Yes.
Nice – still thinking of Knies/Matthews/Nylander as line 1. I’m not sure Bertuzzi has the pace to keep up, but I’m ready to see how he develops.
Knies shines when he plays with better players. He deserves a long leash in the top six.
Feel a bit bad for Domi, he hasn’t really found his place yet and I don’t think on a line with mitten and Calle is gunna bring out the best in him. but I just don’t know where else makes sense based on the way he’s played so far.
In the same breath, really happy to see Knies get some top 6 time.
This is the problem I have with Keefe. It’s literally been like 3 games and you already change the lines without trying it some more? I would’ve given Domi like 2 more games at least on that line before moving him down.
Matthew Knies saves JT91 on babysitting costs and now he gets a shot in the top six? Weirdest form of nepotism I’ve ever seen.
Domi profiles as a 3rd liner much better as well in my opinion
Oh lawd in heaven YES!!!
Keefe will try everything except what actually won him a round.
*Everyone liked this*
happy to see this, but this doesn’t help the invisible third line. they’re going to need to spread the wealth somehow if they want a third line that produces
OH MY GOD SHELDON. SEPARATE TAVARES AND NYLANDER. IT DOESNT WORK MAN. IT NEVER HAS AND IT NEVER WILL. FUCK.
It would be very hard to split Willy and Tavares right now but going to duos of Tavares+Knies and Willy+Jarnkrok seems likely.
Thank fucking god.
This is where he should be. Or up one more.
Ps. When I suggested this is where Knies should play coming out of camp I took some spicy heat.
