Marc & Andrew host Game Over: Montreal to react to and analyze the Montreal Canadiens’ first game after learning Kirby Dach will be out the rest of the season, and it was a stinker against the Minnesota Wild.
The hosts talked about the consistently terrible special teams, and how much focus they should take up for Martin St. Louis, Alex Burrows, and the rest of the coaching staff, the over-reliance of the drop-pass for powerplay entries by Nick Suzuki and company, and what strategies we’d like to see them try on the powerplay (0:00). They also talked about some positives, like how good Alex Newhook has looked through three games (33:30), the appearance of the Brendan Gallagher we remember (39:30), and Michael Pezzetta leaving it all on the ice (44:45), then took questions from the viewers (47:40).
