Well this isn’t going very well

Is it crazy to think Ekky being here is in their heads? Was his dinner with Jos a 4D chess move? 🫣
So I think it’s safe to say the biggest issues facing the team is goal scoring and defensive positioning.
It’s ok we always get really hot in November/December then fall off in January. I’ll be ok to watch them win the next couple months.
On the positive side, MTSU is beating Malik Willis’s old school Liberty 35-28.
They’ve looked good with puck movement, up until they shoot. It’s like everyone in the club got infected with Colesmithitis.

What’s killing me is that our offense has had a lot of danger but we can’t seem to get a result out of it. Meanwhile Edmonton is scoring on every other good look they have
I don’t know how anyone ever beats the Oilers.

I know this is only game four, but I really hope Barry Trotz has the balls to do what’s needed if this continues to go south. David Poile drug this team through mediocrity for way too long and had nothing to show for it. Try something different Barry, if you’re going to suck, try to get a high draft pick out of it.
I’m a longtime casual fan but, determined to become more hardcore this season. Do we hate the Oilers? Or are they just really good?

This is only the 4th game into the new season so I’m expecting many more similar showings like this. Hoping our new offensive system starts to click with the guys sooner than later. Mcdavid and Draisaitl always seem to tear this team apart in the stone.
We losing so hard I’m cheering for the draisaitl hat trick. 😕

Pretty terrible that all of our penalties tonight have been Josi and Forsberg. They’ve looked kind of bad this year so far.
Forsberg is gonna have to step it up. I think despite the score there’s some good things happening on offense but Forsberg has yet to deliver and he keeps taking penalties
This guy had an .888 save percentage last year. Someone’s gotta step up and be a breakthrough goal scorer for this team this year.
Forsberg has not played up to his contract since signing. Dude honestly seems complacent since signing. Hasn’t had that same drive that he used to.
How many times are we going to shoot it directly at his chest
Strategically, what’s the purpose of pulling the goalie when they get scored on several times? Especially when it’s pulling in the second line goalie? Is it a psychological thing, or a “they may be having an off night” thing or something? I know it’s a thing, but I don’t quite get why.
Feel bad. My 10 year old neighbor kid got tickets for his birthday to go to his first Preds game tonight. He was super pumped. Turns out he’s terrible luck.
