If you listened to the Seattle feed, you'd believe that the refs were biased against Seattle tonight. They were complaining about St. Louis all night for little stuff that both teams were doing behind the play.
But this is just a "heavy hit" and they seem to have no idea how or why Oleksiak broke his stick to need to borrow one from Bellemare. Somehow the entire Seattle feed is completely missing any video or commentary of Hayes spitting up blood all over the ice from a Seattle high stick too.
I can understand that some fans in Seattle might be fairly new to watching the NHL, since the franchise is still young, but there's no excuse for the actual announcers to act like a novice homers.
I hope Buchy isn't out for too long. But, none of that looked good. Especially the part with the ref standing and looking right at it. Slashing? Crosschecking? Boarding? I mean, take your pick, dude!!
