* Ugh, we looked a little better in the 3rd period but then we went right back to bad defending in OT. Sucks that we’ve now lost 3 in a row but hey that’s what happens with sloppy defending

At least we played some damn defense the last two periods. Lucky to get a point after that pathetic first period.

Big point we didn’t deserve, and the team looked way better in the latter two periods. Point needs to wake up though, can’t be the 1C on a team playing with Kucherov and continually struggle like this.
Johansson was great, defense was fine. 2 goals isn’t enough against any team in the league. Also Kucherov never went consecutive games without a point last year and 4 games not that it matters much. Our top guys are just not performing right now, Kuchy, Point, Hedman all terrible
Would be nice if someone told Point that these games count. He needs to get it going.
JoJo held them to 2 fucking goals and can’t get a single bit of help from anyone not named Hagel.
Absolutely fucking embarrassing effort from 90% of the team on the ice. When bogo and sergachev are the only two defensemen that look decent out there you know something has gone horribly wrong. Don’t even get me started on the forwards. Good grief.
We don’t deserve that pity point but at this rate, we’re gonna need every pity point we can get if we’re actually gonna have a shot at the playoffs.
We looked bad in the first, mediocre in the second, and good in the third. We’ll get there
There’s some stuff to build on there. Hate to say it but this team needs to play low event, grind it out hockey. They don’t have the horses to win a track meet anymore outside the top 3 forwards and Hagel who can at least finish. Didn’t feel like they gave the Sabres much after the first. Step in the right direction. Take the point and keep building.

Hagel is a star, but everyone else hasn’t shown up so far.
Despite the result, i think we played a LOT better than the last couple games. Especially at D. The only thing we were really bad at was shooting, which is something this team should never suffer from for too long.
Getting a point from that abomination of a game is something. We went 35 mins before even playing the game.

We’ve been putting out 5 skaters and a goalie, but they haven’t looked like any fucking hockey team I’ve watched wear the blue and white in the last 8 years. Got one more point than we deserved tonight.

Bagel is playing hard. I want to see kuch take it to that next level. Stop trying to force passes and use the snapshot when he can. Biggest misses he has are off the posts/crossbar.
