Petterson put up over 100 points last year and Vancouver should have had no issue with giving him 10-11 for 8 years. Maybe he wants more?
Nylander should just sign for 8.8 x 2 and wait for the cap to go up and jt to be off the books.
leafs need to improve their defense. Nylander should be traded for a stay at home defenseman. the type of player needed in the playoffs.

Pettersson is the obviously the much better player and more important to his team. That being said nylander for many reasons.
