News outlets have given the Ducks a chance to make the playoffs. So you’re telling me there’s a chance the Anaheim Ducks make the playoffs?! Yes, there’s a chance, but lots of things have to go right. In this video, I give 3 things that have to go right for the Ducks to make the playoffs. As well as give my realistic expectations & some bold predictions for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

    Overall 73 pts seem realistic as some pundits have them around the 75-80 point mark. I'd be thrilled with the higher-end though. I don't think Zegras will get 30 goals but 80pts is definitely doable. I think McTavish can hit 55-60pts but that's more because he has to carry Strome and Vatrano early on in the season. As for Leo, I kind of expect him to get his 9 game cup of tea and then spend the majority of the season in San Diego. As for Drysdale, 40 pts but better defensive metrics with Lacombe and Mintyukov somewhere in the 25-30pt ballpark. I know, low expectations. Overall, I just want to see a better 5 on 5 product on the ice instead of one that gets caved in on a nightly basis because the team can't string 2 passes to save their lives.

    I enjoy your content quite a bit. Focused and objective with regards to where the Ducks are at right now. The Lock on Ducks host could take some pointer from you. He's not horrible or anything but your presentation is much better.

    The only thing this team is missing is 2 decent bottom 6 wingers and another top 6 right winger.

    i think they'll still be bad and a bottom 10 team but when carlsson and killorn come back they're at least going to be fun to watch every single game … and in all honesty one final top 10 pick is going to be a good thing , maybe the hockey gods will help us out (they really owe us) and we can move up from 9th/10th pick to 3rd/4th pick

    I think ducks do have rooster depth, but it's a young unexperience depth. Honestly i'll be happy if most of our prospect get called up in the middle of season, we wanted that last season but verbeek prevented it. I think verbeek will be more willing to gives our prospects game time in NHL this season

    If the season is a bust due to injuries, then let Gibby go. Keeping him around is like the Angels keeping Trout. Not gonna do anything, then let him go.

    Trying to watch the home opener but all these penalties uggggghhh. Not impressed with Cronin so far. Looks as bad as Ekins, We suck so far.
