Man, I think the 3rd line is gonna be good this year. They just need a minute to click.
Absolutely EVERY point is important. As was talked about they found out the hard way last year. As quickly as they can they need to get into "good habits" and taking it to teams when having a lead. Yes, only 3 games in but good habits start now! Always watch/listen guys.
Good episode boys. Not too worried about the bottom 6. I think they will find their footing since they are all new (keep in mind top 6 has 1 new player compared to the turn over in the bottom 6). That being said if they are going to get more offense they may need to give DOC some more help. He seems to produce when with better players. Right now harkins doesnt seem very cohessive with that line and i think he looks more like a 4th line grinder. Maybe they can drop a dman and bring up big z or nylander to help get the offense cooking on the third line.
One other problem is that they seem to get the lions share of defensive zone starts. That's always going to make it an up hill battle.
