Wow I forgot seeing this, that was a huge block AND cleared the zone.

Hög was also out there the last 4 minutes to protect a 4-3 lead, says a lot about what Tocchet thinks of him now

Unsung hero. We should all yell HOGGY! with Miller every time he blocks

His play so far makes me more comfortable with moving Garland. Still not keen about it since he’s a useful player. But if they can make a sensible trade to shore up the defense/gain a bit of cap (huge if…), I think they’ve got the forward depth with Blueger + Mikheyev to take a lesser player in a position of need back in a trade and still come out fine.

That was impressive. The way these guys are selling out for the greater good is such a good sign!

Throughout his time in Vancouver, I’ve seen people give Hoglander the “top-6 or bust” label and I always think to myself… we’re not watching the same player.

He’s a total buzz-saw out there, it’s just more about making the reads/anticipating players for him.

Hoggy is definitely this team’s spark plug. I didn’t see him take one shift off last night. Really, really happy for him.

Love what I’ve seen from Hoggy in the first two games. He’s got the fire and he’s producing. Maybe he’s turning a corner? Time will tell.

There was a point in the game that someone slashed Boeser on the wrist and he left the ice. I thought “oh no…” good thing he came back on later.

Hogs and podz … perfect 3rd line wingers.
