Was surprised to see Draisaitl attempt that one tight angle shot again and again and again after it looked like our D(eSmith) had it figured out.
    Let’s Goooo!

Hronek played almost 26 mins. Hughes 25:30. Ride em till they drop.

Now the boys need to recoup and not fall into the trap-game that is Philly. I’m LOVING what I’m seeing so far, but it would be very Canuck to win these two then lay an egg in Philly. I’m cautiously holding back my complete buy-in until then.

Great game. Still can’t believe they killed that 5-on-3.

Depth scoring tonight! Hoglander, Kuzmenko, Lafferty and Studnika.

Man, they look good. Nothing against the nucks but can you believe the oilers still don’t have a good goalie?! Mcdavid and drai and you don’t get a good goalie

two games in a row having to hear that shit play by play dude….where’s Shorty?

Nucks new slogan… “Let’s fuck this shit up”

8/11 on the PK against the best power play in the league with a minute of 5 on 3 sprinkled in there is a massive improvement over last year.

  9. starrynova888

Thought it was Demko stealing one, until I saw it was DeSmith

  10. Connor Brown does NOT want to be on TV right now lol

Is it just me or are the fans here kind of neurotic?

PS Canucks don’t need to apologize for anything its a road win

Huge statement game from the oilers and great response by holding us to only 4 goals this time and losing by only 1 🔥🔥🔥

DeSmith: * makes a back door save on a draisatl one timer

DeBrusk: wow! What an excellent read by draisatl on that play!!

  14. Jordsport

The oilers subreddit blaming the goaltending on a night where they had 7 power plays against a back up goalie, two of Vancouvers goals are tips in tight, and they allowed a 2 on 0.

What’s an AHL calibre goalie to do with all that going on?

So great to win in another way against Edmonton. Nice effort by the pk led by Desmith. He had 38 save vs 12 for Skinner. Still beat those pig farmers despite power play disparity. I can’t believe that Edmonton is still going with the same shitty goaltending that they did last year. Stupid.

But I was told angry McDrai would both score a hat trick tonight….funny

We would’ve collapsed under pressure and given up so many goals and eventually the entire game in previous years, not just in the 3rd but right after the opening goal. But this team is undeniably solid and I can’t believe this is what real hope for the season feels like

Hughes has been incredible defensively so far, I hope he starts getting more credit for that side of his game.
