Philadelphia Flyers Training Camp Is Winding Down; Can Both Tyson Foerster & Bobby Brink Join Team?

Today is the Flyers penultimate day of training camp, with the final preseason game coming on Thursday night at home against the Islanders.

With limited time remaining before the puck drops on the regular season (Flyers open up in Columbus against the Blue Jackets next Thursday, October 12), Charlie & Bill continue debating whether Bobby Brink or Tyson Foerster will make the team, or if both can crack the opening night roster.

Plus, it’s finally time to preview the Atlantic division!

  1. Carter Hart can't possibly ask for a top-10 goalie salary. Over the last three seasons he's 27th in Save Percent and 27th in GAA. But let's say for sake of argument that he DOES get the 10th highest goalie salary. Right now that's Igor Shesterkin at $5.6M. That's only $1.7M more per season than he's currently making. And the cap increase is coming. There really shouldn't be a salary problem with Hart.
