I'm sorry but those paramedics should be fired i have never in all my years seen 2 medics move so slowly to something that could have potentially been life or death it look them long enough just to put their helmets on disgraceful.
I recall an instance in practice on day. We were doing hitting practice. I was about 8-9 years old. Everyone lines up about 3 feet from the boards and one player skates along the boards getting hit by each player one after the next (I think it was called the "grinder" or something). It was my turn to take the hits. I was always good at taking hits, but once I got to the biggest guy on my team, he crushed me to were My helmet caved in. I didn't get hurt at all, but I remember after practice a coach took my helmet and started inspecting it, saying if I had gotten hurt, I could have sued Bauer. With that said, hockey helmets don't protect much
Thous medics took forever to get on the ice u need to go on the ice right away when u call not take ur darn tine butting ur helmets on when u should have them on already and ready to go out right when u get called
did you see the damn paramedics, like wtf?? want to hurry it up a little, are we disturbing the f* you were doing there??? Nonchalant, took all their time putting their damn helmets. good for #27 for calling them out
Guy makes a clean hit, unfortunate head injury happens, antiquated code forces him to "answer the bell" – where he or the avenger both risk a head injury. STUPID.
HOOOO-LEEEEE! I am glad he gave the thumbs up. Heard he's fully recovered. NOW I think that hit was a little late. It wasn't a HARD hit, but the hit could be avoided after Bru passed the puck up. There was enough time to let up and minimize contact. Nevertheless, Bouch being a good sport and instantly apologetic is a REALLY GOOD LOOK. Great gentlemen on the ice at this level.
All leagues really need to start cracking down on the leg sweep when checking someone into the boards. See it all the time in every full contact league
The EMS there is totally inadequate. One of them was more worried about getting his bike helmet on then hurrying to the player. .What if he had been seriously cut? I hope they improve on this for everyone's safety.
That fight after the hit was bullshit !!! Dude almost dies on the ice after the cleanest hit ever ! So yea let's fight and have another scary situation boucher went up to him when they take him off on stretcher to show his concern

rip career
I hate how slow those paramedics are… they were in their lunch break? Ffs…
Nice slew foot. An accidental on purpose stick to the mouth is what should have happened to Boucher next shift.
He was vaccinated

As if they gave Boucher 6 games for this..
Worst paramedics ever they should be fined fired and arrested for negligence
Man, a trauma induced seizure is no joke. Glad the trainers got there immediately!
imagine for 30 seconds if Jim Pizzutelli had been as slow as these 2 paramedics to rescue Malarchuk, what do you think would have happened….
Honestly the fight after was so pointless. Innocent play, fluke incident.
I don’t wanna say the hit was dirty but the angle is hard to tell did that leg trip him up Russian leg sweep style?
You can hear a player yelling “let’s go” to the medics who were showing very little urgency.

He slue-footed him out of that hit, subtle but very dirty. Caused buddy to slam onto the back of his head and resulted in that scary seizure.

For anyone unaware, he was hit, and preceeded to have a seizure. I am epileptic so i can accurately comment on the convulsion spurts.

I was at this game. Didn’t have a good view at all but I saw his arm like shaking. My mind was racing hoping he would be okay. Luckily he was.
Love fighting in hockey, but no need for a fight after that. Its was a clean hit and a freak thing.

OMG…his head twitching is scary….HOLY GEEZ!
I've seen icebergs move at a faster pace than those paramedics.
Reason #42 why I went after anyone I saw slew foot
Looks like Boucher got a six game suspension for that incident.
You know, ice or no ice, those medics were piss poor with their reaction time.
Little slew footing.
fire those paramedics from ever working a hockey game in their life, how do you move with such little urgency ?
Don’t walk any faster ref wtf!
Geezus
Is there an updated video? Hope he will be alright.
career will never be the same after that hit to the head
