No fan of Oshie, and I'm a CBJ supporter, but you gotta give credit where it's due. Oshie dropped the hammer on Fantilli here in about the cleanest way possible. Like this hit should be in NHL training films.
Good clean hit, no theatrics. No reason for everyone to drop the gloves, and no reason to stop the play. Sometimes the man on the receiving end will stay down to stop the play but then pop up just fine once the play is whistled down. And not every big hit should result in a fight. I love to see guys stick up for their teammates if there's a bad hit or needless hit and the team takes exception to it, but if you're skating into the zone, you should know, you're a target for a shoulder, and if you get rocked, that's on you for not having awareness.

Hard hit without leaving his skates. Nice.
See guys, you don't need to stop the game over a clean hit. Play on, thats hockey
I love that this channel is very capitals biased.
Oh snaps welcome to the NHL. Hot dayum.
Had this guy on my pool, always scared when he hits he will get hurt. Nickname was TJ OUCHIE
honestly if i were fantilli id be thanking TJ. a good clean hit in a safe setting to set some expectations. very happy nobody dropped the gloves.
How did he make it to the nhl? Can't even skate with the puck. Mom and dad must of paid for everything.
