Dang I’m sad about zelly, but this decision should be better for his development. Really wanted him to make the team over minty, but long term this is probably better.
they gave Kassian so many chances to earn a contract, and he didn’t earn it. Which of the rookie dmen are left? LaCombe and Minty?
Minty was definitely the best of the young CHL D. Zell needs a good amount of work in his own and but should be dynamite with a season in the AHL.
So this settles the 23-Man Roster to start the season:

Actually starting to see the young D men come up is awesome. Hope Zellweller gets some time this year too
So we have 3 rookie D men and a rookie forwards Im loving this. Lots of other super young players wow. Not to get ahead of myself but this feels like the OKC Thunder of hockey
