    Help me understand

Edit: Okay, I’m on board, I’m a happy boy. Just hope we don’t lose number one Swiftie Jack Studnicka in the process

Solidifying the bottom 6. Another former Penguin who Alvin is familiar with.

I know the name but not familiar with his style of game. What does he bring that we don’t already have?

  4. UnitedOne994

He’s a right handed C, which we are lacking on the bottom FW group.

I was just saying the other day this team has too many draft picks and not enough fellas in the bottom 6.

I saw the score notification and I was like “why tf are we trading for Brogan Rafferty?!?!”

You mean we don’t need to trade a 2nd round pick every single time we acquire someone?

Considering that this guy was one of the main parts in a trade that brought back a 1st and 2nd round pick last year is this not a pretty sweet deal for the Canucks? He seems to be a “premium bottom 6” type player so far as a bottom 6 can be premium no?

Another forward who we could have probably claimed on waivers later today. Not saying he isn’t a decent depth piece…but I really feel like we could have got him on waivers for free.

Team with excess of forwards, troublesome history of bleeding draft picks, and lack of cap space spends another draft pick to acquire yet another forward.

He had 21 points averaging 15:07 TOI for a historically bad Blawkhawks team and hovered around the 10-point mark in the seasons before that, I don’t see how his profile is much different from most bottom-six players.

I didn’t realize we had the cap space for another guy at over $1 Mil

I swear six months ago Toronto media was talking about this guy being worth a 1st/2nd round pick

Solid! I’ve streamed him before in fantasy and he’s done some good work. Wins faceoffs, can put up some points, throws hits, PK, RH center… a real good addition to the bottom 6. The price is right too

Next up: Lafferty, Sam, And Gilmore, Happy
