This felt like a game they would’ve lost last year.

If nothing else, there was probably a lot of good data for the coaching staff from that game. Things can probably be tightened up by Thursday.

I have absolutely no idea how the lines are gonna go for the first game. Lalonde has some decision making to do… hoping for some prospects to get some minutes
Am I pissed at Ben for almost keeping me up past 3am? Yes, yes I am. Does the dopamine that I get from the win song cancel that out almost completely, also yes.

I know it’s crowded but Sprong might deserve a look in a top 6 role. His release looks great. Loved Petry’s game tonight. Hopefully Raymond scores early season to get his confidence going, he’s had a lot of great looks.
Well my ramen was excellent, too windy for a bonfire but wings pulled out a win so a great damned night
Well at least their “B” team didn’t take us to OT. Sloppy but satisfying… hehe.

It was a slop-fest in the first, but they pulled it together to look substantially better in the second and third. Took my mom to her first ever NHL game tonight and she had fun seeing the Wings win.
