FLASHBACK to Jack Nicklaus’ Miraculous Putt | 2016 Senior PGA Championship
A throwback clip of Jack Nicklaus educating Johnny Miller on how to properly putt the ball on the immaculate 10th green at Harbor Shores in 2010 during the telecast of the 77th KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.
Call me crazy but I think this is the GREATEST shot Jack Nicklaus ever made in his entire life. Totally egoless, just like a kid on the practice green. And his reaction was nonchalant and genuine in my opinion.
how did he do this?? how?? i mean come on man…..this massive high variable putt he walks out and throws it in…..did he practice the position before?????
Fake. Notice how Johnny moves the putt to a specific location (in front of the Gatorade bottle) as Jack is walking up. There's an infrared receiver on both the ball and the hole. Once the ball is lined up and struck the ball will automatically head for the receiver. Impossible to miss. Also, do you really think Jack would say let me show you how to putt it with such confidence and then miss it. C'mon.
Ranks right up there with Roger Federer's tweener in the 2009 US Open semifinal vs Djokovic…Olga Korbut's amazing floor routine in the '72 Olympics…Secretariat's 1973 Belmont Stakes blowout win.
Was this a practice round? How can they mess around like this in a tournament? Amazing shot! Tiger's chip shot at the 16th in the 2005 Masters was amazing, but this beats that.
Amazing that those question this. Well then question everything as we have no idea what is believable and what isnāt. Jack never fairly won anything anymore than Tiger did. We are all in the matrix and nothing is real.
For Jack to say you have a good putt & say you want me to show you how ? was brave , but to do that on TV/camera was even braver & cocky/funny( that Jack could only say/do ) then sinks it like a tap in, lol, if that ball had not went in the cup I don't know how far passed it would have rolled, the Golden Bear is 1 of the greatest

Jack is, and always will be, the greatest. Sorry Tiger. š

This is the equivalent of Babe Ruth calling his homerun shots
Thats a BAD MAN right there
I never played golf, and at times found it boring to watch. Until….Jack Nicklaus came on the scene. Then, even more so Tiger Woods.
That's impossible
I like how Watson gives Jack a "we're not worthy" bow. Great stuff.
The birth of what is now known as the āMic dropā
How is this possible? No warm up. Didnāt āread the greensā. He just COLD did that. Someone explain this to me please lol
The most "hold my beer" moment in the History of sport
I must have watched this 5 times and it just gets better every time ~!~
time warp
He got a bigger reaction than Tiger winning the Masters in his prime š
I wish my Dad could have seen that.

Now thatās swagger!
What are the odds of Jack making that putt ? Probably higher than winning the lottery ,lol
Whenever I want to sacrifice a minute of my life to the golfing gods I come here.

Is this in 2010 or 2016? It says two different dates.
Well thats a perfect Mic drop
how on Earth this moment is even possible.
This clip never gets old.

That's why he's Jack Nicklaus and the rest of us are mere mortals.
Jack was great, and everyone knew that. But I guarantee that even he was shocked the ball dropped into the hole.
