Overall this is great news for the team, but the two things that really suck are the reality that the DTC streaming is up in the air if itll even be ready this season, and that customers of directTV, at least for the near future, will not have access to games.
At home, not so much of a big deal because the antennas are cheap, but a substantial amount of the restaurants and bars in the valley are DirectTV, which means it just became extremely difficult to catch a game in public. Seems like a glaring oversight that is hopefully remedied by early season, but the tone isnt exactly hopeful.
With Mullet prices what they are, as someone who liked to watch one game a week in a social setting, it fucking sucks that none of the bars that i enjoy near me will have the games.
