  1. It’s so crazy to see the role reversal of Ov being the old head and translating (very well at that) for the younger guys

  2. I already know im going to miss watching Ovy so much in the NHL. Such amazing and exciting memories watching him his entire career. Im glad there is still time, but damn…. its comin.

  3. Time goes by Sooo fast. I remember Gretzky being a 21-22 year old chasing the points streak game by game. First thing I dis every morning was to read the sports section with breakfast before school to see if the streak was alive. He got to 51 games. 61 if you including the last ten games of the 80/81 season…but you don’t in hockey. Later Yzerman, Mario, Bure, Ovechkin. All kids. Now older than me or just a bit younger. 18 turns into 38 in a Flash. Gotta really enjoy your time in the NHL cause when it’s over your just any old anybody. We live for today. Not the stats of the past. Beating them though. What a thrill…at that moment. Then life goes on and others come along. If Bedard is for real he has a huge advantage vs ovie. He enters the league two full years younger. If he delivers these first two seasons he could have banked 100 goals at the same age ovie started. If he is for real he could have 500 goals before he is 29. If so anything is possible, but I believe ovie will forever hold the record at 900+ goals.
