Adams said the plan was for the Sabres to keep 8 defensemen. That really forces them to carry only 2 goalies. If winning takes precedence over development now, I don’t see how they keep UPL on the roster with the way he’s played. Unless he steals the show tonight, I just don’t see it. I think they should try to maximize his value and send him to Tampa.
