I wonder if this means we can keep him on ir
god damnit
“I’d give anything to keep Conor Timmins on the Leafs”
*Monkey’s paw curls*
I didn’t happen to watch the last game he played. Is there a highlight of the injury or does anyone know what happened?
This sucks. Dude is legitimately gifted but can’t get his career going cause of untimely injuries and setbacks. He’s like the dman version of Nick Robertson, too bad.
Do you need waivers if you’re on LTIR? Just wondering if this helps kick the waiver issue down the road. Or maybe they can sneak him through easily if he’s on LTIR
“Significant” doesn’t often coincide with “week-to-week”.
Oh yeah, and Martin Jones is going on LTIR until we need Sammy or Woll on LTIR, then he’ll make a miraculous and instantaneous recovery. And suspiciously, he’ll return to LTIR when they’re once again healthy.
How is it significant if it’s week to week? Sounds like some kind of tear that needs surgery but he wants to rehab and try to play since he’s a bandaid and could earn a spot.
This is really unfortunate as he was playing so well, but it can also be a **blessing in disguise.** This will allow the Leafs to hang on to him for a bit longer (LTIR) and **if** one of the Dmen are playing poorly at that time, he can get his chance in the lineup (of course some cap work will still need to be done). This can potentially be a win-win for both (even if it may not feel that way for Timmins right now).
GLG!
*weak, too weak
He’s heading to LTIR in order to make the Leafs cap compliant. We may see him Nov/Dec. if there is opportunity.
