  1. Color me surprised that Armia is injured. For God's sake, isn't he always injured? What a waste (imo). He needs to get waived and sent to Laval for awhile, a long while. 😉 Definitely keep Suzuki and Caufield together.

  2. Im not gonna be able to watch that human zamboni savard, could we please send him to the AHL the play goalie? Im not joking!!!

  3. Lines as they are could be fine but for goodness sake, Dach needs to work on winning faceoffs.

  4. For suzuki Caufield id say one of the reason they could be split is for more depth, like he mentionned. For example, Draisaitl and Mcdavid insane duo. But sometimes they were split up to help the team. (Disclaimer! I am not comparing Mcdavid and Draisaitl to suzuki and Caufield. It's just an example)

  5. Yes that comment was correct. With savard back on top pairing we will be drafting top three guarantee!!!

  6. Slaf ? ….His big problem is that his hockey stick is too short for his big frame ..Needs a longer stick

  7. Caufield – Dach – Slafkovsky
    Newhook – Suzuki – Anderson.

have Suzuki and Caufield on PP or if needed through the game, we are rebuilding, we still can make experience.

    Pearson – Monahan – Gallagher
    RHP – Evans – Ylonen

This give Habs a true deep team.

  8. They need a goon , a pest and a goalie . They need a goon so xhekaj doesn’t have to be the guy and waste his talent fighting everyone’s fight and so all the young guys can develop with confidence , they need a pest to replace gallagher and a goalie that’s pretty obvious

Could they swing a monster deal with Philly? As the flyers are trying to get rid of deslauriers , Lemieux and hart. To me those are the three type of players the habs need to move to the next level. The habs have 40 players that can play in the nhl but most of them are too small, not physical enough or not enough grit for the 3rd and 4th line

The flyers are in a rebuilt so

Hart, deslauriers and Lemieux to Montreal, to Philly gallagher , Allen or montembault, Roy a 1st rounder in 2025 and 2 x second rounder . Habs fans gonna have to understand that if you wanna shake that gallagher contract you’re gonna have to pay

  9. Smart move to split up Suzuki and Caulfield so that they'll be frustrated with uncomplementary linemates exasperating an already anemic offense and powerplay.

  10. If caufield plays without suzuki were gonna see a circus. They are THE tandem. Line 2 should be a powerhouse line. Caufield moving around will get him hurt 100%. We need Gally to step up and play some real hockey so line 2 can actually work without the tandem separating. Just because a couple guys arent pulling their weight doesnt mean the tandem should suffer the consequences. Lets watch the other lines crumble and burn so our prospects get another chance mid season. Injuries will be inevitable with the way they dump and chase against giants on D and throw suicide passes up the wings. They need a gladiator practice session.

  11. I think Dach is going to move into the number one center role. He is growing.

  12. It’s a long season. Of course it’s possible they’ll split Suzuki and Caufield up at some point. It’s not that hot of a take.

  13. it doesn't make sense to move Cole and Nick off the first line when they have the most chemistry of any two players on the team. The only thing that I see changing is their line mate.. I think Newhook is better served as the team's second line Centre both long term and in the coming season.. but he's also showing to have chemistry with Nick and Cole, his speed being an asset on that line.. Just seems to be a more sound option over Dach atm for 2nd line C, I see Dach going to the wing, I see Monahan bouncing back, I see Slav finding another gear, there's alot of upside in our top 9 and there could be a lot of musical chairs through out the season… but Cole and Nick are not going to be moving around.
