So I’m lucky enough to have seven Rangers jerseys that I’ve collected over my three decades as a fan and two of them I NEVER wear. No point in them just hanging in the closet so I’d like to give them each away to two fellow Rangers fans here. My hope is they’ll end up in the hands of people who don’t already have a jersey (but I have no way of policing that). Neither is anything super special quality wise. I believe both are from the late 90s. One is CCM and the other is a Starter. They’re both tagged as XL but I think they fit similar to a large in current fitting. Armpit to armpit each on measures 25”, from the end of the sleeve, across the chest, to the end of the other sleeve is 62”, and the height from the shoulder to the bottom of the jersey is 30”.
To enter this “contest” all you have to do is leave a comment. I’m going to pick my favorite comment so make me laugh, tell me something interesting, share your Rangers story, whatever. I’ll even take upvotes into account so upvote your fellow fans. That comment gets first pick between the two jerseys. Second will go to a comment picked at random so no matter what, you’ve got a shot at one if you comment. I’ll pick winners on Friday then get shipping address via DMs. I’ll even cover the shipping cost (as long as it’s in the continental US).

When the Yankees lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2001 World Series, a short two months after 9/11, I was absolutely devastated. I remember flipping through the channels and seeing a Rangers rerun (or classic game) on MSG, and I stopped and watched it. Somewhere in the second period, I remember thinking, “I’m going to be a Rangers fan now.”
Following the Rangers that season helped me through a dark time, and I’ll never forget it. Two decades later and I am still a diehard NYR fan. I don’t even watch baseball anymore.

Can’t say I have a long story with this team. Couldn’t give a flying puck about sports until I found the Rangers three years ago and I’ve been absolutely addicted ever since. Watched every single game with the old man during the pandemic, learning about the team, the history, the game, and I credit that with saving me from madness. Hockey rocks

I just went to the preseason game vs the devils at msg and was randomly selected for the intermission trivia. Although I don’t think it was random given I was wearing an Away Lindgren jersey.
Anyways I got to bring my gf with me and we got to experience a few minutes of the game down at the ice and man it was so exciting. I love my girlfriend and she is the reason I’m even a hockey fan. #LGR for life.

My only real jersey is an 85th anniversary Dubinsky that I got at the last game of the season, 2011. We beat the Devils, and then needed TBL to beat CAR to make the playoffs. If CAR won, then they would have beaten us by tie-breaker even though we had 4 more (would have been 3) regulation wins.
I went to Warren 77 (Avery’s and Lundqvist’s bar) after the game to watch the TBL – CAR game. We were hootin’, hollerin’ and singing our goal song for the Lightning all night!
It sucks that we lost in 5 to the Caps, but that was one of my favorite outings/seasons ever!
(I have a blank white knock-off jersey for my wife that’s sort of a fan, but that’s my only other one.)
I unfortunately already have a jersey but some dude named Henrik Lundqvist wrote his name all over it so I hung it up in a shadow box. Pretty cool what you’re doing!
