> SAINT PAUL, Minn. ā Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League club has signed right wing Mats Zuccarello to a two-year, $8,250,000 million contract extension ($4,125,000 average annual value) that goes through the 2025-26 season.

I first read the tweet as $8.25 AAV and I was very surprised. This makes more sense! 4 and change is not a bad price for 2 more years of Zuccy

Oh hell yeah

This is huge. Wild are all in to win. There is no tank mode.

4.125m x2 is not bad. We aren’t keeping him over 40 and other teams might see it as a steal contract if he needs to be trade bait. Solid š

Iām cool with this. Gives Yurov some time to develop into a top 6 RW too.

Seems pretty reasonable! Keep KK happy through the rest of his contract then use the cap freedom to get some real linemates and re-sign him in 2026.

As long as Kaprizov is healthy I don’t think Zuccarello is going to have any issues living up to that contract.
