I want to see our stars play a lot in the pre season. I think it's essential to develop line chemistry. Individual assessments are one thing, but for us to be successful, we need to play as a team, with chemistry established before the season starts.

I think you should always try and match the other team. Parody creates realistic NHL hockey. Evaluating players in an unrealistic match up isnt good for anyone.
As a Steelers fan, I can tell you pre-season means absolutely nothing! If Canucks have good start to the season no one will even remember this.
The Canucks could have won the game 10-0 without their stars and I would still feel the same way: don't care. The first real season game will erase all of our feelings about the preseason. As long as they're doing what they need to do to prepare the players I don't care about these preseason games.
