3. Eberle vs Russia (2009 World Juniors Semis)

I wanted to put in the Matt Halischuk goal against Sweden in the 2008 World Juniors but couldn’t get any decent quality footage.

  1. Team Canada is so intimidating. Their roster always has the best player in the league or top prospect. Powerhouse

  2. Canada, the birthplace of ice hockey, is confronting a sexual misconduct crisis within its largest and most prominent sport. The fallout has many asking: is ice hockey facing a widespread reckoning?

Hockey Canada, which manages programmes and teams in the country from entry-level all the way to world championships and the Olympic Games, has been rocked by public allegations of sexual assault against its players since earlier this year.

The sports body – largely seen as Canada's voice for ice hockey on the international stage – is now facing consequences not seen in its storied 108-year-old history.

  3. Can you believe it!? I can! Is the most hilariously awful call of an important goal all time.

  4. Canada cheated their way to a victory USA won that game they score after 0 to tie the game? How the fuck can they not review that paid refs

  5. This list is not complete with out Paul Henderson's pretty game seven winner and grinder GWG in game 8 for the 1972 Summit series win. Sorry son, but those 2 goals transcend time and we still talk about those goals today and remember 50 years ago almost to the date seeing the school room clock at 2:45. Not sure if that was when Henderson got the goal or if it was really stressful but I can see the hands of the clock as vividly today as I could in grade 6 at the time. That series changed hockey for the better.

  6. The Crosby goal and the Eberle one I'll never forget. That entire World Juniors tournament that year was insane, especially that game and the New Years Eve game against the States. Living in Ottawa made it even more amazing. I took off work for all of those Vancouver Olympics as well and just sat there on the couch every day watching every single piece of Canadian competitions I could. Crosby basically ending the whole Olympics there after he had a rough tournament, and everyone feeling defeated after they gave up the lead and went to overtime was just perfect.

  7. Video has been updated to add Connor Bedard's OT goal vs Slovakia. You know the one

  8. NOW we await for Connor Bedard’s time carrying Team Canada on his back πŸ”₯ LETS GO CANADA πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ πŸ₯‡

  9. Man those give me chills wow I was at a pats game in Regina and they had the canada game playing on the screen at same time the Pats game was playing and the place erupted in the middle of play I always wondered what the players were thinking lol

  10. Super choice for Poulin number 2 and well, number one was obvious if it was anyone but Sid you should lose your passport

  11. That goal by Crosby will give me chills for the rest of my life, what a moment!

  13. Crazy to think its only been 4 years since this was uploaded, and a new update could potentially add several more goals:
    1. Poulin's 2021 World Championship Gold Medal winner
    2. Bedard's OT winner against Slovakia
    3. Kent Johnson's 2022 World Juniors OT Gold Medal Winner (with a shoutout to McTavish's save)
    4. Guenther's 2023 World Juniors OT Gold Medal WInner
