So I’m really trying to find an Olaf Kolzig jersey.
Sizes 50-54 acceptable. He was backup Goalie for the Lightning back in ’08-’09. Before that he was a star/legend for the Caps, like 14-15 seasons. I’m a Lightning fan living in Caps territory, so this would be an awesome addition to my jersey collection and really fun to wear at a Bolts @ Caps game sometime.
I’ve seen a couple on ebay, but like 58G sized, which is apparently like 2XL-3XL. I’d be able to fit half my family in it (fine if it was just for display, but I’d like something I can wear). Didn’t really want to just get a modern time custom jersey cause it wouldn’t be as nice or authentic, ya know?
Any tips or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

The reason they’re so big is that they’re team issues that were customized like they were his.
They’re probably going to be your best bet finding any lightning jersey with his name on it, because I don’t really remember many in the stands (bought in the team store and worn by fans), which means it will probably be hard to find a smaller size.
I hope you get lucky though!
So are you looking for a team issue Reebok, or do you not care about it being authentic and fine with a Reebok premier? it makes a big difference in price.
A Reebok 1.0/2.0 (authentic) jersey will run you around $200 minimum for a blank in a wearable size (if/when one pops up) then you’d have to order a Kolzig kit and send it to someone to have it stitched down.
Or you can go the Reebok Premier route(replica) which pops up more frequently and pretty much only in wearable sizes and will cost around $50-$100ish blank and you would again have to order a kit and send it to someone to be stitched down.
I would also recommend joining the “Hockey jersey collectors (under $150)” group on Facebook and put out a ISO post and if you get lucky you might find someone with one lying around.
That’s a hard one. His time here was so short most people don’t even realized he played for the Lightning. You’re probably gonna have to find a blank and send it in somewhere to get customized. I have a blank goalie cut Reebok edge from this era and now I kind of want to do that myself lol.
Jeez that’s a weird ask. His time here was a disaster at the absolute nader of the franchises history.
Just get the godzilla jersey from the years he was proud of
