Las Vegas NHL 21 in ’22 | 2022 NHL All-Star Skills Competition
Watch as Steven Stamkos, Auston Matthews, Joe Pavelski, Brady Tkachuk and Nazem Kadri participate in the Las Vegas NHL 21 in ’22 competition at the 2022 NHL All Star Skills Competition
I understand that you want to make the event entertaining. There's a balance though! Don't turn the whole event into a Ronald McDonald gimmick, clown show, This is embarrassing and it demeans the game. Players had a lot of strained looks on their faces, so would I!
This was awesome and a perfect way to incorporate new ideas using the host cities culture to create new events. This incorporates accuracy as well as strength having to get the puck to rise accurately to the higher rows.
I feel like Stamkos should have been the last to attempt the shot for the ace because it took him the most shots to get 21, you could sorta see the look on the faces of Matthews and Tkachuk too, like they didn't even get a chance
Great idea. Awful execution. They couldn't have picked a worse host in Gerry Dee and the players didn't look like they wanted to be there. No personality or emotion
Missed the mark on this. It should have been the person with the most cards hit to make 21 wins. Players should have just kept going until out instead of alternating turns. The announcer was not so great on this…was very disinterested by the commentary.
Sorry to anyone who cares but since when did they play an ASG and take it so seriously, I’m watching the central vs metropolitan game lets go isles and metro
This was hella cool but I feel like after the first round or something they could have made it so that they didn’t know what cards they were shooting at so it’s also partially luck based, like the real game. Definitely would like to see it again though

Evander Kane wouldve dominated
That was a nice edition, they should just always do it in Vegas
I watched some clips of other all star stuff. If you haven't seen the zegras goal, find it quickly!
I love kadri. He's got fire
What shoes Pavelski wearing?

No subtitles for Deaf (I am) or Hard of Hearing people? 🤦♂️🤦♂️
worst contest
this looked so stupid.. This made the NHL look so dumb.. BORING as hell, too… even players didn't want to be there.

half-decent idea for an event, just not fair to the players shooting last. players kinda looked bored tho
Way to go $#!+ Heads . F up traffic for regular people trying to get home.
FU. You Fd up traffic for thousands of people, so F off you sorry POS.
Pavelski is dangerous
Man the skills competition has gotten stupid………
Boooooorrring……
Great time
Keep it going NHL
NHL has jumped the shark
The way they handled the tie wasn’t quite fair for matthews and brady.
Cool game needs different rules like not have the card value showing
Thank God the nhl decided to allow fun at this year's all star weekend
I wish I was there keep it up
That's how unorganized the NHL is
The production here was so bad and this concept is so boring.
The sportsnet highlight of this doesnt mention Kadri at all. Literally mentions everyone else so I had to watch this to see what happened.
I liked this, but I feel like it would have been better on the ice than off the ice
Joe is crazy .
One of the coolest games I've seen from the all star games . Way to think outside of the box Vegas style 21 in 22 !

VEGAS STYLE
Miss you Naz 😭😭😭😭
Lets go Pavs!!
Gerry Dee was literally the worst part of the skills competition

Hey nhl y'all should have put more crappy music over the actual audio
I so want to try that
Pavelski still showing why he’s one of the best to do it.
What a boring commentator 💀
0:27 for the rules
