I really hope Korchinski plays full time in the NHL this year.
Last season, I knew being absolutely horrendous would be worth it in the long run but there was still constant worrying that we’d have Detroit’s lottery luck and end up picking between 4-6.
Now, we’ll suck but Bedard, Reichel & Korchinski will make it completely fun to watch.
I’d like to lose every game 7-6 in regulation. But sweep Detroit, St. Louis & Nashville.

I bet a lot of people here have no idea how lucky we are to have Fifth Third arena here. You can pretty much drop in on Blackhawks practices any time, and itโs a world class rink they open up for stick and pucks / public skates all the time. I took my wife and kids and skated there this weekend and had the rink just to ourselves for the better part of 2 hours, knowing this was the same ice the Hawks had practiced on the day before.
Itโs an incredible place run by great people. Also, as someone who grew up in and around Toronto, Toronto has nowhere near this level of access to where the leafs practice.
