From the eye test yesterday he looked really good out there. Winning puck battles, great vision and passing, good shots. None went in yesterday, but if he plays like that he will get plenty.
That power play with him and Larkin was the snappiest Red Wings passing plays I’ve ever seen since Hank retired.
He looked noticeably like our best offensive forward last night in my opinion
