Not to get ahead of ourselves, but I’m thinking the Stanley Cup parade should go all the way to at least Royal oak from campus martius. Thoughts?

I’ve seen enough. See you in the playoffs.

  3. AWokenBeetle

Tigers win, Wings win, it’s a damn good night gentlemen

  4. culturedrobot

My expectations are high and my tolerance for disappointment is at an all time low.

  5. dkyguy1995

Ras said he’s missed his teammates 😭😭

  6. NeuralHandshake

Happiest I’ve ever seen Michael Rasmussen.

  7. Thought we looked good just need Husso to show up and play like 80 games this year

Now I know we played a bunch of benchwarmers and super green prospects, BUT:

Bednar scared me at first, but wound up quite solid.

Burgers better never do that again, holy cow.

Mo looked solid, but appears to be much more focused on his offensive game right now.

Edvinsson’s offensive game was noticeable for me, and he was making some bodies move on the defensive side.

Danielson might just get a 9 game look. He looked far less out of place than I expected. Great speed, good vision, and seemed quite smart with and away from the puck.

Lombardi is gonna be sick once he gets acclimated to the pace of the pro game. Kid’s just flying around, ripping whatever shots he can.

Ras looks like a man ready for war…and I think he broke Poulin’s nose…

This team’s depth is like nothing I’ve seen in YEARS!!

Ras giving that dude a bloody nose was beautiful.

Danielson got that signature rookie rose red face just like Larks did, gotta good feeling about the lad.

  11. Driftographer

So excited after seeing Nate and Ghostbear out there. They looked amazing!

  12. coltron57

Nice to be able to break out my “Don’t Stop Believin'” 45 already postgame.

Coming in I really thought it would be Kasper playing now and Danielson needing a bit to acclimated, the kid is so poised though it’s insane. He’s know when he has to play quick and he’s got the pace for it, but he’s more then capable of slowing it down and letting things develop THEN making the right move.

Kind of reminds me of Cade Cunningham (different sport I know), but he really processes things and make good decisions and when he’s got to move, he doesn’t pussyfoot, just does what he needs to do decisively. Also Edvinsson letting it be known that Mo isn’t the only guy that will play you rough, got mean quite often with a few people.

I caught less than half the game, but it looked pretty structured for having a bunch of new faces out there. Some really good puck control by a lot of guys. Still struggling to get the puck out of the defensive zone at times, which reminds me of last year…but all that time they’re defending, they actually do a good job keeping scoring chances to a minimum.

r/hockey still shitting on the Danielson pick

  16. Anybody else see similarities in Larkin’s and Lombardi’s skating? Sometimes I was mistaking Lombardi for Larkin and it wasn’t because of the number.

  17. Damolisher2

Just remember, boys and girls: life may he hard, but you’re not that Geordie Paul loser from Facebook. Be grateful.

  18. xenonwarrior666

I think our power play is gonna be deadly. Ghost and Debrincat sure like as advertised.

  19. acid_coven

Anyone got a highlight of Rasmussen bustin that guys nose? I had to miss the game

  20. FragmentEx

Only thing I didn’t like was Perron net front on the PP. Isn’t his wheelhouse where DeBrincat is? Just do that on the second unit

  21. -The-CameronDean-

Edvinsson should 100% be on the opening day roster. Will be interesting to see how things play out

  22. nikilidstrom

Shots on goal from the point? Be still my heart.

  23. AmeriCanadian98

So maybe I missed it somewhere, but I coulda swore Stevie said Edvinsson wasn’t gonna be healthy til opening night.

Was his superior Swedish physique simply too awesome that not only was he ready, but he looked good?
