Edvinsson and Seider:(was from the game, watch horcoffs hilarious take.)
Larkin and Berggren:(vide taken down, was on instagram.) it was a practice video of a corner drill, berggren would have been sent to the box for holding, larkin started to fashwash the kid and like pushed his face back several times. then threatened with a hard hit later on the play and said something to beggren who just skated away with his head down.
MY personal take is that its just a good thing, it might be akward at frst for these players but I think and hope they really catch the memo this year and roughen up abit.

Good we need some fire on this team
It’s hockey, you shouldn’t be thinking anything of it
Better they get used to it now, rather than in a must win back to back against Ottawa.
blues players fought in a practice the same year they won the cup. i’m honestly not too concerned
I was in and out on the Red/White game yesterday. I didn’t catch any of that drama. Interesting coming on the heels of me just finishing an article on how Edvinsson admitted he had a bit of a shitty attitude last year.
Edit: fixed the vague pronoun
From what I know being a ‘shit disturber’ is a part of both Ed and mo’s game. And at the end of the day they’re competing against each other, it’s expected to see some rough stuff
Meh.
There is a good chance the coaching staff asked them to be hard on some of these guys who need a fire lit under their ass.
Can anybody drop timestamps for the beef in the game video?
It’s hockey.

Whole lot of nothing really, lot of dumb people in the replies
Edvinsson literally referenced Seider as one of the leaders driving him to be better and DP laughed at a reporter calling Lark and Berggren’s thing a scrap saying that wouldn’t even qualify as a scrap earlier in his career.
Professional athletes are competitive. I can guarantee that they are perfectly fine with this. As long as nobody gets hurt, who cares.
Sounds like the leaders are lighting a fire under certain fits asses
You play like you practice. I agree this is a non-story, just guys bringing real intensity and getting prepped for the season/competing for jobs. Carolina is generally seen as one of the better prepared and hardest working teams in the league. New players have commented how hard and intense Brindamour’s practices are. Coincidentally Bunting and Lemieux have apparently been getting on each other’s nerves already at camp. That’s how these guys have to play
We really need the season to start 🤣
There’s literally 0 beef. Larkin beating up Berggren a little bit over a boneheaded play that would have been a penalty. Seider riling up Edvinsson.
That’s just on ice leadership.
It’s called leadership. They’re not doing it because they hate the guys which should be obvious. Iron sharpens iron. It’s a great sign that Larkin and Seider are actually stepping up to the role we’ve cast them in (methinks Mo will permanently wear the A soon)
I was thinking about that scenario for Larkin and Berggren a couple weeks ago. If Berggren’s going to play his slowed controlling game, he needs to compete against top 6 forwards who are strong and speedy (they’re pretty well a dime a dozen in today’s NHL) and hold his own. Who better than Larkin to get Berggren in that mindset early in the season?
