  1. 1948 RCAF Flyers, I called this to everyone I know back in 2011 when they released their name as the Jets. Figured itd happen by the Centennial of the RCAF

  2. This is the ONLY jersey I am okay with the Canada Life logo on it, because that particular patch itself looks like a military style patch and it says Canada Life so seems patriotic to me.ill give it two thumbs up 👍👍

  3. The logo is actually the right choice when you consider the current Jets logo is specifically inspired by the RCAF roundel. If they're paying homage to the RCAF, their RCAF-inspired logo should be allowed.

  4. I think the logo is the proper one. It pays homage to the original roundel, and that was the sentiment since day one in 2011

  5. I like the jersey and the logo I just hate the chest stripes that don’t work with the logo at all.

  6. This jersey is one of the most unique ones in the NHL since Adidas took over making the jerseys.

  7. its cool that they honor the rcaf. my great grandfather flew a bomber in ww2.

  8. The jersey miss match in colors dont matter as much as much if its a one time special alternate for a special thing but if it was more regular get the color right

  9. Love the jersey, got one already… (And yes, that is the CT-133 Silver Star)

  10. If i remember right that Jets logo is a nod to the RCAR logo with added Jet and north pointing Compass needle for True North . When the Winnipeg Jets showed off theirs Jerseys in that air field the Owner talked about hot the Jets logo was based off that Jersey and the added elements to the logo

  11. I really like this Jersey. It's always a plus to pay tribute to heroes of the past. Thank goodness our sponsor is Canada Life…pepsi-co wouldn't look too good there.

  12. With family fighting in WWI and WWII, and having one of them in the RCAF as a bomber, this makes me so proud and so happy to be a Jets fan ❤

  13. I would like it a lot more if the grey outline of the logo was white. Such a small detail that could go a long way

  14. To be associated to war is always ok for pro sports. National anthems and camo jerseys are ok but they move always from pride jersey while nothing in all that has to do with the game. I say remove it all or keep it all. I Know I am not going to make friends with this comment…

  15. I think if they used the original and maybe – MAYBE – use the current logo on the shoulders, I might like it a little better…

  16. Awesome Speaking of aviation When do you plan to do the flying videos again I think you were dong NasCAR tracks last time you did them?

  17. I think nhl teams probably get “lazy” in a sense and just keep the pants the same colour as their main gear for simplicity sake. Don’t agree with it but that’s probably why you’ll get the different colour schemes? Just a guess

  18. I feel the reason lots of people don't like this jersey is for the same reason as the Wild's winter classic jersey. Those top strippes really ruin it.

    First & foremost
    Thank you all R.C.A.F.
    crew that fought so bravely
    in World War II.

Basically Neil I agree with a lot of what you have to say about this particular jerseys

The top stripes need to be moved up or the logo moved slightly down just so the logo & stripes are not touching it makes it annoying to look at for me it irritates me greatly.

    Also the Canada life logo
& Captains C or Alternative Captain A need to be above the line not touching it.

fix they issues & it's a 10 out of 10 Jersey for me.

In terms of the uniform I agree about the shorts or pants as you would say in
North America why they cant be the same shade of blue to me defys logic.

The brown gloves look so in keeping with the heritage vibes of this particular jersey
as they say know your history.

    In terms of the
    Uniform for me it's a
7 out of 10 as it is now.

    Fix the mistakes & it's
    10 out of 10.

For me if a Jersey gets a 7 from me it's a low pass mark & just about worth buying 6 would be a falure & 10vthey have knocked it out of the park.

    Keep Safe Neil.

  20. I really like the jersey. The logo is the proper logo cuz it was originally inspired by the RCAF,any other logo would make it feel out of place with its history.

  21. I'm surprised at all the dislike for it. I would have liked it better if they used their original logo instead.
