Sure, you can write off the loss. You can write off the pre-season (which seems to be something the canucks do every year). You can downplay the blown coverage and the flawed systems play…but, the management and the arrogant coaching staff has talked at length about how their structure and systems and commitment to fitness gives the organization an edge.
What was tonight? Was that implementing systems? Was that the fittest team in the league? Was that how you start a season? Was that a something to build on? Is that what eating an elephant looks like?
It is not a big deal. But, you never want to lose 10 buzz.

I understand why we dressed our AHL team, I don’t understand if hanging them out to dry against an NHL roster is the right thing either! Thoughts?
I get that it’s a meme but realistically it’s 4-5 forwards here that are likely in our opening night roster and 1 defenseman.
