This summer I decided to get rid of cable since I wasn’t using it much. I have a couple of streaming services that I use, but mostly don’t care about live TV. I had thought there would be an NHL service like NFL ticket, but not sure what that is. There’s like an ESPN+, NHL Network, [NHL.tv](https://NHL.tv) (not available in the US?), etc. I just want Caps games, but having to pay $50+/month to get a live TV service for just Caps games isn’t great.
Anyone else figure out a relatively cheap option for streaming games?

Illegally
I use HULU live TV mostly because my wife still watches some live shows. It’s ass expensive, but still cheaper than cable. NFL plus only allows live streams on mobile. NHL no longer has any live streaming service. There is a new monumental sports app apparently that has live caps games. I’m going to give that a shot as well.
I might go with ESPN+ w/ a VPN since I’d be in market. I do know of sites to watch for free but they tend to be buggy and full of pop ups. I’d rely on those sites for the games ESPN+ isn’t showing.
Use my parents cable login for the apps lol. I refuse to pay for cable strictly for sports.
Caps games are broadcast by Monumental this coming season (except for when they’re nationally broadcast, then it’s probably espn). Access to MSN (Monumental Sports Network) is through a live TV service provider. You’ll have to do some digging on which provider is the least expensive. Or just ride the high seas and 🏴☠️. I’d guess Hulu with ESPN+ is the least expensive one.

ESPN+ I think is $10 a month.
ESPN+ carries most games out of network. In Cleveland on FuboTV i get Bally sports (blue jackets) and (shitsburgh) att sports net. The remaining games are either espn or tbs.
