  2. Ouch. Played against Merkley in bantam and he would always light us up lol. Hope he’s alright!

  3. I thought it was going to be intentional cause of the title, but nah he was just following threw on the pass. Unfortunately he got him with the high stick. The guy even tried to avoid falling on him. You should’ve titled it “terribly unfortunate high stick leaves merkly badly cut.” I swear your title guy got into some really good legalized pot.

  5. "Spears" is probably not the best word to describe this action, as "spearing" (when related to hockey) is usually used to describe an intentional action, which this clearly was not.

  6. Should of never been a penalty BOY o BOY hockey has turned into ⚽️ sad .The mid 80’s and 90’s was some good hockey.
