Roy (Wawa) played 2 games in the intrasquads and he played with Monahan and Dach and I gotta say, he was looking very good out there, making plays and great passes. The best youngster out there so far in my opinion !

It’s hard to draw any conclusions from scrimmages.
All positive vibes… Ok, here we go!! lol. Newhook is a greasy little bastard, i hope he can play that way here, for us, consistently. Mailloux, he's going to be a stud man, wait til we got Mailloux, Guhle, Xhekaj, Matheson, and even gag reinbacher, lol. jk. We have a very solid D core tho. Too bad the rest, nope, "all positive vibes", I have been waiting for Saturday night for preseason to start all summer, and we dont even play til Monday, what kind of shit is that!!! lol. I am soooo sick of our team sucking, sorry i couldnt do it. I will put a positive spin on it tho, by saying hopefully we can make some big moves to improve the rest of the team, and fairly soon. I just want to make the playoffs again, it's such a bummer when playoff time comes and the Habs aren't playing anymore. It really sucks.

As an Avs fan, I'll tell ya; 'Hook is an interesting guy. He'll make for an undersized, under numbers 2C, or a better than usual counting stats 3C except his defense has more holes than the alibis at the Catholic Church.
All told, he's a tweener that at best should be counted on to hold down the fort until your next generation 2C comes along….

#1 I've been hyped for Newhook since we got him, and so far i'm as happy as I was back then after seeing him play.
#2 People are sleeping so god damn hard on Slaf, I personally think this guy has the potential to even be the first liner with Caufield and Suzuki, but even if it never happens, he's going to be an essential piece on the second line.
#3 Wawa is has my vote for which rookie has the most potential to get a spot in the big leagues.

They put Owen Beck in the middle of RHP and Gallagher it was interesting they may not have score but they had atleast a shit ton of scoring chance and they were always 2 guy on the puck carrier but somehow they were never out of position
