Rangers fans consume the least alcohol per game? It’s not the beer prices. It’s because everyone is doing nitrous in the bathrooms.

I think the article is true. I don’t see a lot of repeat full can drinking. I get the mixed drinks and call it a day… the other part is, do you want to deal with the lines after waiting in line to piss to do the same to get food? No? Back to the seats before the 2nd it is

I’m carrying my weight lmao, drinking at games is expensive obvi ( cheaper to pregame at one of the many places surronding the Garden, get food there and only have a few at MSG). But the self serve alc stations they’ve set up on the 100s are a big help at getting drinks quick.

The move is to show up already cunted

  4. In this economy?!?! I just drink riot punch before games.

  5. ChocklateshipCookie

I thought the people doing whippets in the bathrooms at MSG were the Phish fans, not the sports fans?

Up in the barstools we’re putting down 6ish beers per head per game, trying to bring the average up!

  7. Sam_the_goat

Wait you guys have money to buy a ticket in the first place?

  8. cloudmironice

*they’re doing cocaine in the bathrooms of the 200 level (at least they were in 2021 before the Garden put ushers in the men’s rooms)

Honestly the lines for the bathrooms and beer are too long to drink too much at the games

  9. wossquee

Once they start selling edibles I’ll buy them there too

  10. MrBogey90

NYR drove me to drink so much that I had to quit

  11. I think two things are throwing off these numbers.

    1) The prices and the location make it really convenient, and smart, for people to do their drinking before and after the game.

    2) I go to quite a few games due to sharing a plan with several friends, and I don’t drink.

  12. I barely drink at games, i do all my drinking at the bars nearby. Prices too steep. Best value ever is the souvenir cup. Its like $11 and free refills so that is where i rehydrate

  13. pony_trekker

I can’t afford to even look at the beers.

  14. pony_trekker

Seriously I don’t drink at games. Pizza, refillable soda. $21 bucks with a chase card but I think went to $25.

  15. gingercroissant

Now include beers consumed at Tracks beforehand and get back to me

  16. kloogies

With good almost as expensive places around the garden, no need to drink in the garden itself.

  17. BuffStudman

Because after buying a hot dog and chicken fingers for 55 dollars they dont have any left for drinks

  18. bumblebee909

Maybe if they didn’t charge $18 for a tall boy then I’d reconsider one drink per game. The move is to drink on the train and then hit Jack Doyle’s before puck drop

The garden only sells 24oz beers. Is that taken into account? The bars also push doubles on you like the vodka is about to expire.

    My normal scheudle is a double Tito’s and then a beer a period. That’s a garden 6.

    I’d like more data.

    Inconclusive.

Its the lines and price. End of story.

Those plastic flasks are a godsend if you want to booze during a game.

  22. I’m in Chicago and can confirm the #2 spot for the Hawks is well-deserved.
