Someone tell those F’ers in the background to Shut It!!!!
GKG!!!!
These blokes are great, I am glad you interviewed them.
Eddie, thanks for interviewing these fellows. I felt a bit sad as it appears the guys have been working on things for quite a long time, yet still won't likely make any money at this. In the end, the players are still rich, will come in to town and then leave and the boys will still be struggling to build up hockey. So I'd call them 'tireless workers' who are getting a few minutes of fame followed by silence for…how long? Meanwhile, my sense-as has always been the the case with our Kings-is that these games are meaningless and I just can't wait for the regular season to begin. I've never been able to figure why the Kings' players never seem to care how they do in these games? But I still remember-August 1971-a foretwlling of the coming season, the Kings had an intersquad game where they tied 5-5 (could we say they were so bad they couldn't even beat themselves? pun intended). Keep up your efforts, Eddie. p.s. Should I make a sacrifice on behalf of our goaltenders for the coming season? rl
