Everyone is counting Coots out due to injury but I believe for the next 7 years he will be the Flyers Captain centering the 1st line during the next 2-3 years and then the 2nd line for the last 3-4 years of his contract when we are actual Cup contenders!!! By the end that $7m/yr that looks so bad now will actually become great value for perennial Selke candidate that you NEED in order to win it all!!! The silver lining being off the past 2 seasons is two years of less wear & tear on his body so in that perspective we're in good shape assuming there are no recurring back issues!!!
