Steve I hope one of your goals is to be a coach, trainer, or professional caster, because you have the drive and creativity to WANT to make an impact, all that left to see is whether or not you can make an impact. (ps. I think you can, and I would love to see you as a coach, I think you have the instincts).

We know the Leafs can run & gun score… we know they are still developing… so is it a case of our expectations are higher and more exaggerated due to decades of misery that a slight sniff of success from last season is blown overboard by media hype? We all signed up for a short-term pain for long term gain… I would rather have MNM suffer now so that when they finish their NHL apprenticeship they become LEGENDS
Yea the Leafs are sucking RIGHT NOW and honestly i think its because of Babcock messing around with the lines and team strategies But this is okay cuz the leafs are gonna make the playoffs, Babcock is certain of it. The leafs can afford to drop a little bit in this part of the season. We have some wiggle room in the standings. Mike is just messing around with the wiggle room he has been given, playing with the lines and figuring out how the team plays best. Anyways, this time of year hockey TV ratings start to drop, there is less attention on the team. They can mess around a bit.
Come February, we will see the Lines and team strategies perfected and we will truly see how good this team is.

Stalock is a bad goaltender who does some crazy dumb stuff on the ice, and very rare has some outstanding games… every time he was in net for the Sharks i was like oh my god oh my god… he had a freak injury and the Sharks just felt sorry for him i gues, because they kept him even while he was bad until the Leafs took him lmao
Looks like Steve got use to winning now lol… The Leafs been mostly a losing team since you started this channel. I don't think you want them to return to "normal"
Also, you can be a fan of the Red Wings and be even more depressed/sad/angry that they only won 1 game in their last 11.

I found myself not watching much last night because it was so boring they were being out played it seemed. Still think we could use a couple more pieces but until then. Yes, I think you need to chill. But you're right the games are not as fun to watch when they lose because it's kinda boring. They usually score on few chances because they have speed and skill. The problem is we don't care when they win. Kinda like how Detroit was for a while under Babcock.
Part of it must be system, as it kills me to see a great skater like Gardiner moving 10 feet form behind his net and tossing touchdown passes for icing over and over and OVER AND OVER. That said, they are also not fore-checking worth shit which is why they cant sustain any pressure or force any turn overs. This team is so damn slow right now its hard to watch… after what we saw to start the year.
I'm gonna say this. If a team like LA or whoever wants to part with a legit top notch blueliner and we need to give them something from our back end as part of the package, Gardiner is going the other way. Tell me what gardiner does that has helped. Is he a PP specialist? Nope. Does he make great breakout plays? Nope. Does he kill penalties? Nope. He is just there and that type of player frustrates me the most.

I've noticed that style of gameplay is the basic go-to plan without Matthews in the lineup
