This is kind of helpful. A veteran like him shouldn’t need to be sent down to Laval but he simply isn’t among our 7 best D. Spend all year on IR for all I care.
Chris should refrain from full-contact backgammon during summertime.

I think Wideman is a serviceable 7th Dman who can fill in when needed. That being said with top six being Guhle, Savard, Matheson, Xhekaj, Harris and Kova. I would much rather see Barron, Mailloux or Trudeau on the ice way before Wideman, if he doesn’t play a game this year all the better.

I like Wideman so it’s a shame for him to miss out. However how do you not know your back is injured?
This organization is unreal with injuries. Season has not even started yet
Honestly while not being able to play he still a great locker room presence and that’s his greatest strength rn. So I won’t pretend it’s bad news, it’s kind of an ideal scenario
